Summer Staple: Bell Sleeves (and a discount code)
I have 5 shirts with cut-out shoulders. A chunk of my wardrobe is missing shoulder fabric. #YOLO. However with my (mild) obsession of cut-outs, I'm a HUGE stickler when it comes to choosing them. It has to lay perfectly, be cut correctly, and slims/shapes my shoulders. A general rule for choosing the right cut-out shoulder blouse? The cut-out should start right on the shoulder bone - that pointy bone that kind of sticks out on the end of your collar bone. Clearly, I'm not a scientist. So check out the pictures below as reference for your cut-out shoulder tops.
to the much anticipated bell sleeve. Super long, cropped, or tailored - the bell sleeve oozes boho chic vibes, and ALWAYS looks flattering. I think I'm a gypsy in my bell sleeve top and I always feel great wearing it. That's the whole point right? Not the persona thing (I never really got over the dress up/pretend thing that we did as kids) but the feel good/good vibes part. Being confident and dressing for it is the entirety of my passion for style. You gotta feel pretty in your outfit, and sometimes it starts with a mood then the outfit - and other times its the outfit that sets the mood.
This outfit most definitely set the tone for my day. The top is originally supposed to be tied in the back, but I loved it wrapped around like this and tied to the side! Check out how I styled the 12th Tribe's Turn Around Bell Sleeve Top and a collar similar to this below:
