#BlogStuff: Dusters Are The New Beach Coverup

Dusters are becoming a new staple in my wardrobe. Fashionable, while functional.

Dusters add a little drama and sometimes (literally) ties your outfit together. What I love is that they can be worn open with rolled up sleeves during the mid day when temps are high, and then buttoned/tied/zipped/belted up when the cooler night comes around. Cue those summer nights at a beach bonfire. Plus they cover chilly legs! If you know me, anything that can be doubled as a blanket is as good as gold.

I purchased this one (bonus, currently on sale) from a Hawaiian brand that I've been following for years on IG, YIREH. This brand sources their fabrics straight from Indonesia in support of local artisans there. Owner, Emily, even donates 10% of profits to local social causes and donates 200 pounds of clothing to rural villages annually. How. Freaking. Awesome! A purchase as beautiful as its social mission. Here's how I wear mine as a cover up at the beach!
